Going Victorian

I have long been a fan of all things Victorian inspired... I just love ruffles! The romantic in me can't help but be drawn to them. Guys can get into the spirit of an era gone by wearing an ascot (or cravat) instead of a traditional tie.

I happen to like the ascots from local designer Blind Bunney Couture. The blind rabbit patterns are quite whimsical and cute. I really should have bought one at their sample sale . . . the purple one is calling my name!

A Dress for A Mad Tea Party

Isn't this a great image? I totally love the model's doll-like hair and oversized silk flower ... not to mention the dress. I just ordered this delightful dress by Pamela Thompson... it makes me feel like I should be cavorting with mad hatters, chasing after white rabbits, and drinking tea in rose garden.

Here's another photo:

And the best part? It was under $60 including shipping. :)

Now, hopefully a size 2 will fit my flat-chested self . . .
